This one gave me mixed feelings. The hotel looked very nice when I checked in. The room looked very nice when I checked in. I was surprised that the floors were hardwood and not carpet which I thought was great until I tried to sleep in that room. I heard every footstep The people above me made, and the people on either side of me made. it made sleeping very hard. Another issue I had was with the smoking and I’m not talking about smoking cigarettes. There are no smoking signs everywhere but the hallway and the library area smelled very strongly of p*t |which is legal in Illinois. At first, I thought people were sneaking around and doing it, but then I realized I would walk outside and there people would be standing right outside the door in the full view of the lobby smoking it on the patio so I just had to deal with it. |I was a little put off by the front desk. They told me and the agent saud and I quote “basically our housekeeping policy is we don’t clean your room unless you call us and tell us to” then when I got to the room, there was an envelope laying on the bed asking me to leave a tip for the housekeeper which I thought was a little odd. |One more thing about the room is the way the bathroom is set up the door barely, and I mean by a hair, clears the toilet when you open the door, so you have to step into the bathroom and shut the door in order to have access to the shower area and it was just awkward. |So it was not the worst hotel. I have stayed at in Illinois, but it definitely was not the best.

Wow, what a sweet place to stay. Been here before and enjoyed it. This time was even better. Reserved a room with deep tub and fireplace. A little mix up with rooms was kindly and rapidly solved. Had a lovely soak with plenty of hot water. They even added a free breakfast! Definitely will stay again.

We loved this hotel! Service was great, staff is super friendly, quiet and clean. We stayed for our son’s navy graduation and it was an easy 20 min drive to the base. Way better than any of the hotels they suggest for navy graduation.

Great stay! Perfect location for my sisters graduation from the Navy. Loved the new bar edition called the Lustre Lounger. Kasara was a great bartender!! So engaging and kind.

Beware the beds! They are extremely hard and uncomfortable. No cushion or mattress pad. Pure spring. Horrible for people with bad backs. My family comes from the hotel industry and I truly believe that the beds are the most important item to budge on to ensure a comfortable and restful sleep. I wasn't able to sleep at all. They obviously put all of their money into the decorations of this place to make it look like higher class or luxury. I spent almost $200 for the King suite. Pictures are not accurate. It isn't even a king size bed! It's a full! The pillows are lumpy. And the blankets are the waffle type, and have lots of bleach and zero fabric softener. Crispy and hard blankets. Hard bed. Hard blankets. Lumpy pillow. Will not be staying again unless that is changed or I am left with no choice. I stayed here a couple of years ago and the beds were comfortable then. They also started doing breakfast and got rid of their boutique. Also, I booked through Travelocity, and the total price is supposed to be the total price with taxes and "fees". When I got here, they charged me extra tax, and a $25 incidental fee. Bogus. Lastly, I paid for a room with a fireplace, and it's fake! The fireplace is not real. Very disappointing. They have a continental breakfast. Pretty basic, but nice to have. Customer service is good. The atmosphere is modern and updated. Seems clean for the most part.

Cute boutique hotel in a small Chicago suburb. Great for a nights stay, but Zion doesn’t have much in the way of food or activities, so plan on driving to a nearby suburb like Gurnee to eat or shop. Nice toiletries and a good sized room. There is a coffee shop in lobby, but it didn’t appear that anyone was working the am we were leaving.

I read a couple reviews about them not holding your room if you used a 2nd party reservation so I emailed them and got a response they confirmed my registration, the check in was simple ,the room was big ,clean ,parking is free .Food locally was Lorenzo restaurant, few more with in a mile walking distance easily .

Very nice hotel in the heart of Zion! I’ve stayed a couple of times and both visits have been great. The rooms are nice & comfortable, the lobby and general area is very nicely decorated and all around a nice place to stay.
