JDK Catering and Events exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. We cannot thank them enough for all the time and effort the whole team put in to make our day absolutely magical. Abby was always available to answer any and all of our questions throughout the planning process and helped us plan every part the day. She was with us every step from initially booking to the wedding day ensuring the day ran as smoothly as possible without any issues. Brooke and her team made our floral vision come to life exactly how we envisioned it. She was always so prompt with answering my emails and making any last minute changes that we wanted. The whole day was absolutely seamless and we have the JDK staff to thank for that. We will always recommend the JDK Group for any catering and event design needs!

The JDK Group is absolutely top-notch! One of the biggest stress relievers during the wedding planning process was having one contact for the venue, event rentals, and catering. It made everything so much easier to coordinate, and I can't overstate how much it simplified things for us over the past year.

Their catering services was next to none! The food was extraordinary! We had the opportunity to do a taste testing earlier in the year, so we already knew how fabulous it was going to be, but our guests couldn't stop praising it afterward. The variety and flavors were exceptional, and the flaming donuts were a definite crowd favorite!

As someone who’s an extreme DIYer and very hands-on, I appreciated how the event rentals we had access to were both convenient and perfectly aligned with my vision.

Our dedicated coordinator, Andrea, was truly a lifesaver! I think we went through at least 10 iterations of the proposal as I kept sending a billion changes and new ideas. She kept pace with me the whole time and was an absolute joy to work with. Throughout the year, she eased my mind as we navigated the planning process. During our setup the night before and morning of, she rolled up her sleeves, jumped in, and helped bring my vision to life with the rest of my bridal party! She even saved the day when we forgot our rehearsal dinner outfits at the venue and rushed back to grab them!

The day of our wedding was incredibly smooth, and the entire team was wonderful.

I can’t recommend JDK enough—it was absolutely worth it!!!!

Brooke and her floral team are 10 STARS!!!
I wish I could leave separate reviews for each division of JDK, because my experience with each section was pretty different.
First of all, BROOKE with the floral department is AMAZING at what she does. She was patient and kind and responsive and helpful. I started with one vision and after a couple revisions, went in a totally different direction, and Brooke was there every step of the way navigating with me, throwing out ideas and responding quickly with changes and pricing for me. The final product was timeless and elegant and fresh, and perfect. She and her staff set up broke down with smiles and helpful hands. I LOVED this part of the experience… I would use and refer Brooke over and over again. The florals were STUNNING. Just enough, not too much, and everything looked full and put together. I really can’t say enough about Brooke and her team’s amazing work.

The catering/set up and bar tenders were all spectacular. I was a very anxious bride and had a lot to set up on the wedding day and put on tables and they went above and beyond to help. The bar tenders were quick and helpful and attentive, and the whole day went off without an issue. The food was great and they really go above and beyond when it comes to allergies and contamination. I really appreciated that, as we had several gluten and other allergies to be cautious of.

The coordinating side was a bit of a nightmare. We were bumped around to 2 different coordinators at the beginning, and it felt more like we were dumped off on someone else. Our first coordinator was helpful, and we liked her just fine…. But then we were given to someone completely different without explanation, and communication disappeared, and I felt like I was bothering her every time I asked her for an update. Responses were few and far between, and pricing on the contract never seemed matched what she was emailing, which was frustrating. She sent the wrong version of the contract several times and there were misspellings and mistakes on the contract, which just was a bad look. We were told we ‘may not’ get a rehearsal because there ‘may be’ another event the day before, so we might have to do it the morning of our wedding… also super stressful and weird… Then when we had our details meeting, and picked all the cutlery and dishes and table cloths, etc, we were only able to see 2 options because that’s all she brought with her, and then, AFTER THE MEETING, she emailed me and said she forgot to write any of my selections down, and asked if I had them. I didn’t, soooo I had no idea what we picked. It just made everything feel really overwhelming, when it didn’t need to be. The final straw was, without notice, or even a mention that she was pregnant, one day, in response to one of my emails, I got an auto response saying she was on maternity leave until the end of October, and my wedding was 11/02. That’s when I really panicked and thought maybe I made the wrong choice here…. It wasn’t until my Mother called and talked to Abby, that we finally felt like we were being cared for. Abby took the reins and was very helpful and patient. She immediately figured out our rehearsal plans and locked that it, that was a huge relief.
The day of, she was with us all day, and helped us all with timing and where to be and set up and tear down, and overall the entire day was perfect and beautiful and I loved it, I just wish the beginning phases weren’t so unnecessarily stressful.

Overall, I think the fact that everything was in one place, and pricing was very fair, we’re happy with our choices and glad we ended up getting the help and attention we needed and paid for. It just felt really tedious getting there.

The JDK provided the food, florals and rentals for our wedding this weekend and exceeded every single expectation. The team (Tara, Colton, and everyone else) was a master of their craft. We hosted a 72-person wedding that featured a 5-course tasting menu centered around personalized menu that tasted like a Michelin Star restaurant. The service and team were professional, friendly and made the day so enjoyable by handling every detail. I cannot recommend JDK enough!

I couldn't be happier with the catering services provided by JDK for our wedding! Tara and Sydney were incredibly helpful in working within our budget while delivering the best wedding food we could have asked for. We've received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was.

Tara and Sydney's communication was excellent—they answered all of my questions promptly and thoroughly. The tasting event hosted by JDK was a lot of fun and gave us fantastic ideas for our wedding menu. Our design meeting was quick and easy, and it was wonderful to see the plates, silverware, cups, and linens in person.

I cannot thank Tara and Sydney enough for all the hard work they put into making our wedding day perfect. Their dedication and attention to detail truly made a difference. I highly recommend JDK for anyone looking for exceptional wedding catering!

We used the JDK Group for our florals and they knocked it out of the park! Brooke Meier was incredible to work with. She really listened to the vision I had and was great at making suggestions to make the most out of the small budget we had to work with. Everything looked 10x better than I had pictured it in my mind. You know you've picked a good team when even your other vendors are excited to work with them!
