First off what absolutely beautiful establishment to enjoy a wonderful meal. Food was excellent and our waitress was outstanding. Can not wait to go back and enjoy a nother meal.

My son and daughter in law and grandson took my husband and I to have all you can eat crab legs. It was the best dinner I have had in a long time. The food was spectacular and the atmosphere was beautiful. I will be going back soon and I will be tell people about this restaurant. Please go and see for your self how wonderful this place is.

1st time. Waiter Drew was very friendly. Brushetta was excellent. Crab cakes were good but I preferred my husband's cheesey grits & shrimp!

We just hosted my sister’s bridal shower at the Meredith Inn and had an AMAZING experience. Throughout the whole planning process, Emily was super communicative, helpful, and accommodating to say the least.
When we arrived the day of the shower, we were all blown away at how beautiful everything was! We requested a “Bridgerton Tea Party” aesthetic and got just that. Emily & Morgan took great care of us and constantly made sure we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.
I couldn’t recommend hosting an event here more. HUGE thank you to everyone at the Meredith Inn for making my sister’s shower fabulous. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Our first trip here and it didn't disappoint. Overall is was a nice atmosphere, very friendly and the house is very well done. The food turned out to be very good, no complaints other than maybe the price being on the high side. Unfortunately thats where things are today with inflation. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions were nice size. They didn't skimp on anything, even the basic side salads were loaded.

My family and I have been to the Meredith several times and have consistently been pleased with the food and service. Dining areas are a bit crammed though and can tend to get loud with large parties. I also find it strange that soup or salad is a la carte and not included with a dinner entree. I would expect that to be an option especially when spending $35-45 per meal.

Last night was “all-you-can-eat“ crab night. This was our first visit, so we were not prepared to do anything like that, but the restaurant was packed with people who were. My first impression of the place was very favorable. We started with the calamari. We really liked it very much. It was flash fried and served in an Asian sauce. Very nice. My wife had a cocktail, which was done really well.

For dinner, my wife had the crab cakes and I had the seafood pasta. The crab cake was wonderful. My wife tried to steer me to that, but I didn’t bite for some reason but I should’ve listened. Instead, I went for the seafood pasta which was pretty bad. The shrimp and the scallops were cooked very nicely and flavored well. The pasta, however, was in a cream sauce that was as thick as motor oil, as well as flavorless. I tried to eat it, but I couldn’t. The staff were very, very busy doing crab refills for people, so I didn’t bother saying anything.

The ambience was amazing. The service was spotty because the servers were busy crab-refilling people, and their stations seemed to be spread out. I used to be a waiter so I could tell what was going on. I didn’t see my server much. Perhaps they were understaffed.

All in all, this is actually a good review with one bad dish. I will definitely be going back, but I won’t be ordering any pasta. I would’ve given this place five stars where not for the pasta dish being basically inedible.

To the owner: we did have reservations, fwiw!

Local restaurant with amazing food, great service every time I go! I got the lobster roll special this week and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. Highly recommend!
