Absolutely amazing! Couldn't ask for a better place to have our wedding! The all inclusive package made our special day completely stress free and Jacob handled all the small details! Highly Highly recommend!

Everything was absolutely perfect. Jacob was very helpful and easy to work with, very pleasant to work with. From our first meeting till our event was finished, all our questions were answered and I feel that he went above and beyond what was expected of him. Beautiful retired wood mill was used for the wedding venue and the main barn was the reception hall. Nicely decorated for this purpose and surrounded by Illinois prairie. Plenty of parking and we had a great time.

So glad we picked The Mill at Sugar Grove Reception Hall for our big day! The venue had everything we needed, groom/bride spaces, many great photo areas, decor, furniture, linens, lights etc! Complete with rehearsal access to set up & practice. All we had to do was give our vision & make our personal touches! Jacob worked with us to make sure it was exactly what we wanted & helped us find vendors in the local area! Thank you!

My husband I married on September 14, 2019. We had both our ceremony and reception at The Mill. Using this as our venue was hands down the best and easiest decision of our wedding planning process. It is absolutely stunning and there are so many ways you can utilize the main building, the outside pavilion, and the surrounding grounds to fit whatever vision you may have. The owner, Jacob, is an absolute delight to work with. He responds in a timely manner and is so easy and flexible to work with. He even accommodated us coming back twice to visit because we were indecisive about which area we wanted to utilize for our ceremony. Jacob has an amazing vision for his property and is constantly doing upgrades and adding inventory to his decoration options. One thing I loved most about working with Jacob is how open he is to the ideas his couples have. If you have a vision, he finds a way to work with you to make it happen. You won't be disappointed booking this charming, rustic venue!

We just had our October wedding and it was gorgeous! Jacob is very accommodating and helpful. The getting ready rooms were the perfect size for a smaller (4 per side) wedding party. The venue had plenty of decor items and we could use them for no extra charge. Plenty of room for a full buffet, dessert table, drink station, and bar area.
