The Staff and Volunteers at Cor Jesu were again welcoming and helpful. Snacks and beverages during breaks in the retreat were plentiful, delicious and accessible! Fr DiTomo and Fr. Jerome’s Lenten Retreat was a factual and instructive basis for our Journey. I feel that Fr. Jerome was inclusive of the many (married, widowed, parents, single) who came to review the need for adoration, examination of conscience and the levels of spirituality. He welcomed questions and was energetic in his explanation of the providential and merciful Father.

This was our first year attending Jesus Fest, and we’d recommend it to all of our friends and family! We had an excellent weekend, with good food and a few planned activities, which were very fun. More importantly, we could enjoy the grounds as we wanted to. Our kids spent a lot of time on the water, using the rope swing or the various canoes/ kayaks/ paddle boats. There were some scheduled times of prayer, and there was a bounce house for any downtime. On the last night, there were live bands playing, and our kids had a blast dancing! I hope we will get to go again next year. Thank you for a wonderful weekend of memories, Cor Jesu!

Fr DiTomo & Fr Jerome were great. Holly Hanson A good tip for the bathrooms. Please find a way to make it handicap accessible. I was kind of nervous with no bar to pull me up off of the toilet

The pilgrimage to the shrines of Chicago was a wonderful experience. Memories brought back of childhoods, traditions,and of course Fr.Jeromes stories just made for a wonderful day. Many thanks to Libby for all her planning and arrangements made, just made the day extra special. She even supplied hand warmers.

I truly enjoyed the retreat. Loved Fr Ditomo's and Fr Jerome's talk. Would've enjoyed listening to DiTomo a bit more. A handout of topics discussed and time allotted for each topic would've been nice to have. Also a platform wouldve helped to have a better view of the speakers. Time went by quickly. As far as the price goes I feel it was a bit too much especially wirh the parking lot being the way it was. I really disliked the fact that it was so muddy with no sidewalk or.paved lot to walk on. It was very inconvenient to walk all the way around the building to get inside the building then wipe our dirty shoes on the mats. Parking lot was awful. Wish the back-door was available to use do to the mud. My car, and tires got all muddy and because of it a car wash was necessary. It was pretty dirty.

I’ve been on numerous pilgrimages through this organization. They are always run so professionally, thoughtfully, and are so heartfelt and meaningful! Libby is especially amazing as our guide! I always feel our comfort, care and safety is a priority.

Our Altar Server retreat on October 5th, 2024 was great, we have the opportunity to use the burn facility and access to garden. The service is excellent. Thank you so much to the volunteer of Mission of Cor Jesu for their excellent job.

Gorgeous, quiet property that was great for a restful & productive spiritual retreat. Many unique, unexpected blessings like hammock, kayaking and fishing. Staff were delightful, kind and gracious to me, an evangelical Protestant pastor. Would reschedule again without hesitation. Highly recommend.
