I joined this tour because I wanted to educate myself on the history of the Castro District and all of the impactful events that helped shaped the LGBTQ+ community. Eric really taught me so much and you can really tell he is really passionate and knowledgeable about the Castro District’s history. Throughout the tour he gave many recommendations which was also great for me since it was my first time ever in San Francisco. This tour was definitely one of my favorite things I’ve done here and I’d say it’s worth doing!

He is super knowledgeable not about the history of the city but also about what is currently happening around town. What an amazingly historical and political tour. I was very impressed and learned a tremendous amount about the Castro even though i used to live there between 1996-2010!! Highly recommend this specific walking tour. Eric is a passionate, high energy guide with a wealth of information and details that will elevate your understanding of national and local legislation for gay rights, gay marriage and the leaders of LGBTQ rights.
