A very cozy place. The rooms are spacious the beds are comfortable. They have the friendliest staff we have ever encountered, and the breakfast was very good. They have their own parking lot and getting to the strip district and museums from this location was incredibly easy. A shuttle service was offered later on in the night by the hotel for anywhere in a couple mile radius if you wanted to go out without the hassle of driving yourself. We will be coming back again.

Nowhere better to stay! Highly recommended!|Beautiful historic hotel with everything you need for a great trip to Pittsburgh. We stayed here on a romantic getaway and loved it. Lovely rooms with classic furniture and a comfortable bed along with robes and plush towels. All the small details combine for a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the on-site bar with delicious cocktails, friendly staff, and shuttle service provided by Bob. So grateful the owners saved this gem from demolition! We stayed at the Priory with about 20 other guests attending our sons wedding . I can not say enough how wonderful the staff are. |Nicole and Maddy at the front desk made us feel like family members . Katie at the bar makes a mean "Monktini".|The housekeeping staff were just smiling and pleasant for a few extra needs.|The hotel itself is charming and well maintained . You feel like you're back in time . The rooms itself are lovely and spacious. Minor concern the shower is small so if you're a bigger person you'll be in and out quickly. ||We weren't able to see much of the Grand Hall because a charity boxing match was happening but from what we could see it was massive and quite grand .||The neighborhood driving in is a bit rough right off the highway but the other side has many restaurants and bars right next to the Pirates baseball stadium.||Parking is available at no charge in outdoor lots . A huge plus in the city .||Loved it and would stay again .|The Staff is everything.

Tucked away on north shore. Near many attractions.

Minor down side, near elevated freight line. Wonderful breakfast service. Nice shuttle service 3 pm - 12 M

A hidden gem in an out of the way area. Quiet, clean, very nice rooms and reasonably comfortable beds. Small but very comfortable bar. Friendly and helpful staff. Only issue is that it isn’t “walkable” to other areas of downtown Pittsburgh. Have to uber/lyft instead. If it had been walkable this would be my default hotel were I to return to this area.

This is my first time here, I came here on the fly. And doing research on where I should stay, I came across this hotel. This is very interesting because in the 1840s, it was a church. I don't know what year it actually turned into a hotel, but this building is very historic, and looking at it from the outside, it could definitely fool you. But when you open the doors it is really beautiful. They have a bar, a restaurant, it does serve free breakfast and the breakfast is good and hot with coffee, orange juice and etcetera. It has three floors, it does have a gym and some meeting rooms just in case you want to have work meetings or Church meetings they do have rooms for that, they also have a room with a computer and a printer. This place was pretty awesome, and the staff are really nice. I want to give a shout out to Mandy and michael. Who were great hosts, and I wish them all the best. Hopefully, I'll see them again. But definitely if you are in town and you need a place to stay, definitely come stay here.

What a wonderful surprise! I love historic properties and this did not disappoint. As a solo, I booked a twin room that was perfectly comfortable and decorated elegantly. Best at the Priory is the staff: check-in with Connor, the Monk Bar with Kate and Maureen and breakfast with Leslie (who would not let me leave without snacks and water for the road). Anyone visiting Pittsburgh should stay here, I wish I could have stayed longer! Thanks to everyone for a wonderful stay!

Staff is super friendly in this awesome historic landmark. Was greeted at the door when we were checking in. Rooms were clean. Was give a tour of the hotel. Better than any chain hotel I have ever stayed in. This is definitely a place I would come back to a visit again.
