Overall it’s a quiet and cozy place. The hosts were great. Bathroom is huge and will feel quite luxurious. Tv was very small. Indoor fireplace didn’t work and even outside one didn’t have any wood or any other items to light fire which would have been nice.

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at this Cozy, Nostalgic, quiet, country set, bed and breakfast. We arrived to be greeted by our host Burt Ayers who was kind enough to provide us with the family history, along with different collectibles displayed everywhere. We reserved the Country Suite which was extremely clean and sanitized throughout. The jettub worked well ,room decor was perfect, and dinner recommendations by our host was more then expected, fantastic. Breakfast was served at 9am ,which was our preference,consisting of a beautiful country view, coffee, fresh fruit, juice, and homemade breads. Following we had Burts famous Ham and cheese omelets which were perfectly cooked and plated perfect||We give this bed and breakfast 4 stars and will definitely return. Thank you Burt for an overnight stay well enjoyed.||||Mike and Josie||Rome ,N.Y.

The best bed and breakfast experience I have ever had. Came here as a weekend getaway with my significant other and boy was it peaceful and relaxing. The place was a literal live in museum. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful, and the atmosphere was perfect. I hope now that the 2020 situation is coming to a close, if you are out traveling again, I suggest you visit the Red Barn Village B&B. You wont regret it!

Bert is an amazing host who communicates with you the day of your arrival, so that he can greet you when you arrive and show you around. We stayed in the Silo room and enjoyed the ambiance. ||||Bert took the time to talk with us, find out what we wanted to do and gave us recommendations. We enjoyed the sites and restaurants he recommended, especially the Lackawanna Coal Mine tour and Cooper's Seafood.||||Breakfast was amazing both days with fresh fruit, a pasty/bread, and the main course (omelets one day and blueberry pancakes the next). Bert even accommodated changes to the meal, as I don't eat eggs and my man doesn't like blueberries. We really enjoyed chatting with Bert after breakfast and learning about the history of the B&B and about the area.

Made a last minute decision to stay in this area & found a room in this nice B&B. Bert, the owner, is very hospitable & a great cook -- enjoyed home-made blueberry muffins & delish veggie omelette, fruit cup, juice & toast. Our room was small & cozy, but bed was comfortable & room was well-furnished with lots of storage space. The house is full of amazing collectible antiques, from trains to dolls, games, toys etc -- interesting to just wander around & take it all in. Location is a bit remote -- suggest calling ahead to get best directions from Bert.

My husband and I stayed in the fireplace room at this B&B. Bert is such a great host and his breakfasts are delicious. Loved our room with the warm fireplace. Some of Bert’s memorabilia collection took us back to our childhood. What a nice place for a get away. Hiking at Nay Aug Park in Scranton, PA (at Bert’s suggestion) was beautiful in the snow with some frozen waterfalls. Thanks for your hospitality Bert!

We had a wonderful visit here July 8. We had two rooms, both of which were beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the host was gracious and accommodating. The memorabilia in all the rooms was delightful. If we come back to the area this is absolutely where we will stay!

We had a great visit. Our room was quiet, cozy, clean and inviting. The owner was very friendly, breakfast was great! We loved all of the memorabilia! We stayed in the Fireplace room. I would definitely return to this spot if we are in the area again!
