UVM Events was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! The Grand Maple Ballroom and Fireplace Lounge were the perfect spot for our Wedding reception and cocktail hour. The space was beautiful and accommodated our group of 200 no problem. The food was amazing! There were so many options to choose from and the chef and catering staff executed our vision perfectly. We received many compliments on the appetizers and the entrees. The bar options were also very impressive - it was stocked with many local to Vermont beers and liquors which our guests loved! The staff was so friendly and took such good care of us! We had a sit down dinner and were extremely impressed with how quickly the catering team executed and cleaned up after the meal. Our Coordinator Nicole was amazing - she was responsive and patient when answering all of our questions (And we had a ton). The production staff was equally amazing - Taking extra time to meet with us to select lighting options and walking through the layout of the space to ensure we were happy with the furniture and placement. At the end of the day we truly felt like every person we interacted with genuinely cared about making our day the best ever. If you are getting married in the Burlington area we highly recommend UVM - you won't be disappointed.

Our meeting at the University of Vermont Davis Center in July for approx. 120 guests could not have gone better. We had attentive staff that helped with every step of the planning and on-site event processes (special shout out to Renee and Justin!), the facilities were gorgeous, the food was delicious, and, once again, the hospitality was unmatched. I absolutely would recommend working with Renee and her team for any function.

We held a hybrid conference at UVM in August 2022. The UVM event services team was TOP NOTCH! They pivoted quickly to all of our requests, provided excellent service to our participants, and handled all of the logistics without a single issue. The tech team enabled us to livestream both in-person and virtual presenters, and provided high-quality recordings. The venue was the perfect gathering place for our participants to mingle in a post-pandemic environment. The food services were high-quality. Our experience was great and we highly recommend UVM Event services to anyone interested in hosting a large-scale conference or event. Thank you!

Our department has worked with the Davis Center staff for the past two years in coordinating details for hosting our International Student Orientation in the DC space for about 250 students in August. This is a complex, multi-day event which includes concurrent sessions, a resource fair, catering orders, and many students who are highly jet lagged. The DC staff has (and continues to be) outstanding in working with us as we faced space constraints when certain spaces were booked up by other events, and thinking creatively through what might work well for our students. Brian was generous in his patience as we made some changes based on moving enrollment targets, and the rest of the DC staff were present and attentive during the event, ensuring that rooms were set up the way we needed them, bringing extra extension chords when the set-up wasn't working with our tech, and ensuring that our students had an outstanding start at the University of Vermont. There is a palpable difference in our student's experience in their first week on campus because of the environment the Davis Center provides, which is a reflection of a lot of behind-the-scenes work by the DC staff.

The Grand Maple Ballroom at the UVM Davis Center is an amazing facility. The staff was on top of the ball at all times - from the planning phase, during the event and afterwards. Everyone was helpful, organized, friendly and competent. Not just the main coordinator (though she was exceptional), but everyone. They are the real deal...real pros. The 5 stars are for the Davis Center on the University of Vermont campus -- not only lovely meeting space, but an excellent professional meeting services team. We are long-time partners with UVM. For several years, they have handled our online and on-site registration needs for our annual multi-day event. Our event location changes annually, and UVM maintains our needs remotely ensuring that everything runs as seamless as possible before as well as during our conference.
