This a delightful magical chocolate shop out in the woods! Their barn and buildings are beautiful, their cows are clean and always look comfortable and they have at least one sweet Tuxedo cat who greets you in warm weather. The chocolates are amazing and the people are always happy to help. Worth the drive, tiny but great.

Family run chocolate shop and farm. The staff is beyond kind and gracious and the chocolates are exquisite, made from the cow milk from the cows on site. And don’t forget to try the range of natural milks.

Hands down the best chocolate I have ever had! The apple spice truffle was absolutely to die for. The only thing better than the chocolate was the feeling of the place. The family that runs the place is exceptional! They are truly invested and proud of their chocolate, milk and cows and you can see it. Being able to go into the barn and see the cows was awesome and learning fun facts from the wall is a nice touch! I cannot recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back!

What a delightful surprise stumbling upon Thorncrest Farm & Milk House Chocolates during our day of adventure! Nestled away, this charming spot turned out to be a hidden gem. And let me tell you, the chocolates? Absolutely divine! They were hands down the best I've ever tasted. This was another location after Nodine's Smokehouse that me and my wife visited.

It's great experience to actually visit farm where they make chocolate from scratch. You can see and feel passion from people working there.

We made choice of specific chocolates from huge selection. We also got some honey and other chocolates products.

Chocolate was absolutely amazing. I had orgasm in my mouth, literally.

My visit to Thorncrest Farm and Milk House Chocolates with my twin teenage daughters was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty of the farm and the genuine care given to the cows. As we wandered around, we were lucky enough to witness a heartwarming moment—an adorable baby cow, just one day old, alongside its mother. It was a joyous sight that perfectly set the tone for our day.

The highlight of our visit, however, was undoubtedly the milk chocolate from Milk House Chocolates. I must say, it was the best milk chocolate I have ever tasted. The flavor was incredibly pure and exquisite, a testament to the beautiful and healthy cows that provide the milk. It's remarkable how the Thorn family's dedication to creating a sustainable and friendly environment for their cows translates into such a delightful chocolate experience. And to complement the chocolates, we indulged in the farm's delicious milk, which was equally exceptional.

I must give a special mention to my daughters, who declared that they had tasted the best chocolate in all of Connecticut. They were enamored by the rich and fine quality of the chocolate, knowing that it came from these well-fed and happy cows. As a parent, it brought me immense joy to see them savoring such a delectable treat and appreciating the connection between the source of the ingredients and the end product.

I would also like to express my gratitude to the owners of Thorncrest Farm for allowing us to capture the essence of the farm with our cameras. We were able to take beautiful and wonderful photos, particularly of the cute baby calf. It was a day filled with precious memories and a perfect way to celebrate Father's Day with my daughters.

What’s not to love about this place? I’ve never walked away from a cow barn before with the words “It smells good in here.”

This place was incredibly clean, the chocolate was delicious. The milk from the cows is great to purchase in small bottles and sample, and the family cares about what they do. These guys are wonderful. Bring your kids here and teach them, bring your date here and enjoy some chocolates together, bring your friends here for a great experience and memory.
