I recently treated my son to a Tiny Table Tour in his hometown of Philly as a Christmas gift, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! We booked the Beyond the Italian Market tour, and our guide Maddy, was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the Italian Market, the city’s vibrant food scene, and the stories behind the local eateries we visited. It felt like we were walking through history while sampling some of the most delicious food Philly has to offer.

We stopped at several spots that were new to both of us, and the food was incredible.
The pace of the tour was perfect, and Maddy was engaging and friendly throughout. She made sure we were comfortable (we booked the coldest day of December), so well-fed, and entertained the entire time.

If you’re looking for a unique way to experience Philadelphia — whether you’re a local or a visitor — I highly recommend Tiny Table Tours. It’s a great gift, a fun way to spend time with family and friends, and an experience that will leave you craving more of Philly’s rich culinary offerings! Worth every penny!

This tour was fantastic!!!! Me and my boyfriend are both from the Philly area but the history of the neighborhood that we learned from our tour guide Maddy was really
informative ! Maddy made this tour personalized and her stories about her relationships/interviews with shop owners/ chefs/etc gave us a deeper understanding of the Philly restaurant scene and the inter-workings of such a historic neighborhood. I wish I could give this tour a 10/10 on here, thank you again Maddy!!!

Dan was such a kind, thoughtful and friendly tour guide. We checked out 5-6 places on the tour and he gave us ample time to explore and ask questions. We live locally and this was a great gift idea! Highly recommended!

Cannot recommend a tour with Tiny Table enough. If they do the Women in Wine tour again, DO NOT HESITATE! It sells out fast! It was such a fun day with other nerdy wine people who love Philly.

Had a great tour with Danny - super knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurants were excellent and got to visit places I haven't been to before. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting or for people who have lived in Philly a long time a would like to learn more about the history of food here.

We joined the Beyond the Italian Market food tour with Danny.

All the food selections are excellent, I won't post any spoilers but each stop had something fresh, made in house, uniquely local and very high quality. Everything was a hit. Portions were of good size, enough to get a good taste but not overwhelming.

The pace of the tour was good and we were giveb time to purchase things as desired. Danny was incredibly amiable, you could tell he enjoyed leading the tour. He had great stories and insights about the Philly food scene and took time to chat with everyone in the group. During a quick break to tour the Italian Market I ended up in a cash only coffee shop without any cash and Danny very kindly offered to get my drink.

Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a different side of Philly's excellent culinary scene.
