I took my teenage son with me to go kayaking for the first time for both of us and we had an amazing time!!! Kevin is such a great instructor and traveling companion! He was so patient with us and showed us well enough that in a short time we were on our way down the river! Kevin took care of everything and we were able to concentrate on the river. He was a fantastic guide with lots of helpful information. We also got some fishing in and Kevin was great with that as well, providing us with all the gear and guiding us well. My son caught the biggest fish he's ever caught and he was so thrilled! I highly recommend Kevin and Top Water Trips for your next outdoor water adventure!

We did a full day kayak trip with Kevin and had an awesome time! He’s a very experienced angler with a detailed knowledge of the river. He provided everything we needed for a day on the water. We caught probably two dozen nice smallmouth, had a few hooked up that got off, and pulled out a monster 35” Musky on topwater! Incredible!

My father in law and I had a fantastic trip out on the Schuylkill River doing some smallmouth bass fishing! Kevin was great to work with. Communication in setting up the trip details was a breeze and Kevin was prompt in answering any questions. Even before the trip, Kevin’s enthusiasm was apparent and it made us even more eager to get out on the water with him. Once that day came the experience was amazing. Kevin was a master of the river and of the smallmouth fishery. He was also very patient and went above and beyond to make us comfortable out on the water, no matter our skill level at fishing or kayaking. Kevin gave us the opportunity to try a variety of baits and knew just where to put us for some fantastic fishing action. Seeing how these fish strike top water lures was a particular highlight. We came away from this trip with some new skills and increased confidence out on the water! Nothing beats kayak fishing down a beautiful stretch of the river. We even spotted a couple of bald eagles flying overhead. We give Top Water Trips our highest recommendation!

First off, I want to start off by saying I went fishing once and it was like just drop your sinker into the water, even a rock could've done that. So really, I didn't know a thing about fly fishing - But i knew my man would love this so I booked a wonderful Saturday afternoon fly fishing adventure for my fiance's birthday!

When we met Kevin he was friendly and just as excited as we were to do this - he absolutely loves what he does! He didn't want to waste anytime and explained what we were going to do. Get on those wadders (which he brought!) and get those Kayaks in the water and we were off!

He explained everything with so much patience as we (and I mean, mainly me flailed around) He was always checking on us and showing us cool things like the little bugs that lived under the rocks. No matter how many times you tangled lines or lost his lures he was always smiling and laughing.

We had a ton of fun, i thought I was going to stand around and take photos but before i knew it I too was engrossed in trying to mimic a bugs scooting through the water! We caught plenty of fishes and different species too. We can't wait to do another fishing day with Kevin. Thanks so, very much!!!
