Visited Bhutan a while back with a group of ladies. I spent 10 days in the country. I got to see the beautiful landscape of Bhutan and also discover the country’s rich culture. What impressed me the most is the way Bhutanese people live their lives. Instead of chasing after money, they focus on how to live a happy life. While money is surely important, Bhutanese people won’t compromise happiness even if there are chances to get more money. A great experience!

I did the Bhutan tour this fall. I visited Thimphu, Punakha, Phobjikha, and a small village called Tangsibje where I stayed one night at a local farmhouse. Well, I won’t say it was pleasant, but definitely a fun experience! I got to live like a local – ate and slept on the floor. The last day in Paro was the excursion to Tiger’s Nest. It rained a little bit which made the trail kind of muddy, but the view was still amazing. Well organized trip, food and accommodations were better than I expected. I guess the only regret was that I didn’t get chance to wear Bhutan’s traditional dress. Maybe next time, and I would love to see a festival too!

I successfully completed the Everest base camp trek in Nepal. The trek was long, but it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Incredible view along the way. Can't describe the feeling when I finally arrived at the base camp. Looking at the mountain, I was so proud of myself. Highly recommend!

Mountain biking in Bhutan was fun! Archery was much harder than it looks.
