I guess I will be looking for another agency to handle my trip I am planning for next year. The first appointment went ok with Cathy until I realized she booked the trip for this summer when I wanted information for next year. I didn’t realize I was asking for info too far out so I called and left a voice mail as well as sent off an email to thank her for the quote but I was asking for 2025 and could she please let me know when to get back in touch with her for updated info? CRICKETS……no response on either platform. Not the service I would expect from someone who seemed to have good reviews and then ignore a simple request that could literally take 2 minutes to respond to (and save a “sale”). I would not want to be “across the pond” and have an emergency and this be the type of service I would encounter again.

After reading several Google reviews AND having Cathy recommended by a mutual friend, I reached out to her to help plan my trip to England with my granddaughter. Overall, I am not pleased with the service we received. Communication with her was very difficult -- it would often be weeks before I would have calls or emails answered. I got very little "inside info" from her about travel in England, although she is known to be an expert about the UK. Although I am very pleased with the hotels she offered to book for us, that's about all I got. And when I asked her to change our flights, she did not. WEEKS later when I circled back to get the new flight info, it cost me an additional $1000 to change them, at that point. I RARELY do negative public reviews. And perhaps she had things going on in her personal life that led to her providing sub-standard service. But this is the trip of a lifetime for my granddaughter, and I was really hoping for more help than we received from Travel Ventures.
