Second visit. This time for food. It was good. Nice variety on tap and large menu to choose from. Prices are right, and I feel like my money was well spent. Porch for before or after dinner is a bonus. I drove over an hour to visit here, so don't hesitate to stop if you are driving by.

Had a great first visit to the hotel. We had an enjoyable meal in the bar including shrimp and a cheeseburger bacon wrap. They were excellent. Easy on and off Rt 15 with a quiet end of the road location. There’s a dining room we will try next. Wait staff were quick, kind, and efficient.

The meals prepared as comfort food.
Tasty and good portions. No regrets on the meals. I recommend this if you like comfort foods and don't mind the loudness of country music. Enjoy, as we did.

2024 update, Trout Run still rocks. The Ranch Pickle pizza now comes in personal size. God bless this place.

2023 Initisl review. The Trout Run Hotel is a fun place if you are in the area. The food is very good, the atmosphere is inviting and scrupulously clean, and the staff are very friendly. My favorite guilty pleasure is their ranch pizza with pickles; it is a surprisingly tasty treat. Try it. You will love it.

Everything you'd expect in a small-town restaurant - great decor, decent prices, good food, fantastic service. Ate here with a small group, each of us enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere. Plenty of easy parking. Just a cool little place! Check it out when you can!

Just got the second worst steak of my life. Normally this place serves exceptional food. Ordered the black diamond steak which I’ve had before but this time the steak tastes like the meat was old and expired, it was also ordered medium-rare, what I received was well done and even the color of the steak gave me the impression that this slab of meat was old and expired. It was inedible and I wasted my money.

A really nice bar up in the mountains but easy enough to get to right off of the highway. The bar food is great with daily specials. Really good burgers too and cold beer! Nice rustic atmosphere and bar is awesome with the fish carved into it. Definitely worth a stop if passing through...

Food is mediocre. Don’t get the fried haddock as I was disappointed. Service was great though and some of the other food is good. Their cucumber salad is amazing! Some parts of the menu are confusing.
