It's a must see if you are in the area! Very cool to walk where our ancient history is. The ruins are well maintained and very interesting to explore. There is more up and down walking here, wear good shoes! We got a pass for this and the castle and it was cheaper. Bathrooms here and visitor center. Amazing views! And lots of info to help you imagine what like was like 1000 years ago!

This was our second time visiting. The Pueblo itself is large, but mostly re-built and not authentic. I personally feel like when you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. However what makes this place memorable is the museum! There are so many artifacts here we have not seen anywhere else. The museum is very well put together and their junior ranger program book is great!

We always enjoy exploring ruins, and this location is fascinating. Very well preserved and an easy walk. If you have the opportunity this is a place you simply must visit.

Gotta do this one. It’s included when you buy montezumas castle pass so go! You get to walk into the ruins a feel how cool their construction keeps it inside—it was a hot day and felt like AC was on inside the hut.

Also lots of cool pots and artifacts. It’s about 20-30 minutes from montezuma castle but definitely worth a quick stop!!!

Tuzigoot National Monument was a really cool stop during my trip. Walking to the top of the ruins and reflecting on how these structures were built and used was a fascinating experience. The views from the top added to the sense of wonder.

It’s a short and manageable visit, perfect if you’re already in the area. While I wouldn’t go far out of my way to visit, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby. A unique and interesting glimpse into history!

Stopped here after a visit to Montezuma castle. I must say these ancient people sure had an eye for breathtaking scenery. The visitor center is very small but was nice with a small museum inside. The ranger there was very friendly. Overall, an excellent stop.

Remarkable place to visit if you chase national park or monument passport stamps. The $10 entrance fee is also valid for Montezuma Castle for 7 days. Children aged 15 and under are free. 30-45 minutes to stroll through the park.

The visitor center was under construction and only a pop up tent with a limited selection of offerings were available. At least, we were able to get our stamp.

Small national monument that outlines the building foundations of ancient natives living in the Verde Valley. Unfortunately the museum portion was closed and we didn't get to see artifacts and read about the history from inside the main building.

Walking the short paved (non wheelchair accessible) paths gives you a good overview of the grounds. At the top it provides breathtaking views of the valley.

I found that if you visit Montazuma's castle your entrance fee also covers Tuzigoot which is just down the road. I'm assuming this works both ways (please verify first). Only takes 20-30 min to walk and read most of the placards with information.
