Had a great time with Chad! Met some wonderful people from all over the world and we were treated very well. Chad mixed stories with great tunes and took us to photo ops that we would never have seen otherwise. Loved seeing Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrick’s homes and hearing stories of how instrumental the 60s music scene was in San Fran. Lily, his van was pristine and comfortable! Best tour in San Francisco…hands down! Thanks so much, Chad!

So much fun with Chad and “Harvey” our bus. Got a great tour of the city with a lot of knowledge. We stopped several places and was able to get great pictures. Chad is a super star and was took pictures of us, and got us into some really busy areas. Highly recommend if you want to really get to see San Francisco, Chad is great!!

We booked a 3-hour VW bus tour with Vantigo during our stay in San Francisco, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Josh, made the experience exceptional with his extensive knowledge of the city's rich history. He kept us entertained with plenty of laughs along the way, and the tour allowed us to explore parts of the city we never would have been able to on our own. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend Vantigo to anyone visiting San Francisco!

I had the pleasure of spending a highly fun and educational morning with Chad and our van Harvey on my visit to San Francisco. In between the soundtrack of our tour, and the excellent banter and dad jokes coming from the drivers seat ( Shout out Chad )I had the best time learning the history of the city and seeing all the important places around the city. Chad even got us around some untimely placed police roadblocks due to excellent local knowledge! Bravo Chad!. 100% would highly recommend this trip and Vantigo!!

As part of our family road trip round California we booked the private tour with Vantigo and it was absolutely brilliant. Definitely a highlight of our entire holiday. Chad was such a great guide- his stories and information about San Francisco were so informative and also fun. His passion for the city he grew up in really showed through ,and he showed us all the best places and also tailored to our specific request to learn about the history and food culture of San Francisco. We completely loved travelling around in Lillie - up and down the hills in the fantastic authentic VW camper ,with beer and wine provided. For our family this trip was the best thing we did on our holiday - thank you so much Chad foe making our tour so enjoyable and memorable.

An absolute MUST, if you are staying in San Francisco!
Vantigo Tours and Chad embody what San Francisco is all about. From the tour vehicle itself to the incredible insight and warm welcome, everything about the tour was incredibly interesting and insightful. If like us, you are visiting for the first time, there was so many stops on the tour you may not have considered but are a must visit! Chad is incredibly knowledgeable on the history and contemporary happenings of San Francisco and California, recommending a range of places to visit, eat and the best ways to make use of your time on the trip. Could not recommend enough and will definitely be returning to San Francisco and Vantigo Tours!

Fantastic VW bus tour!! Recommended to me by a bike tour operator and will be forevermore grateful for it. Easy to book and had the fantastic Chad as our tour guide/driver. Very quickly in to the tour, the group realized we had a gem of a tour guide. Funny, insightful, a great driver and many other talents. Great food/area advice. Honestly felt sad when the tour ended. Made a new friend.

If you are new to the area or don’t have much time and want to sample the best parts of the city in fashion, then this is THE tour to be at! We’ve never been to the bay area, and we are here for a limited time. I found this experience and immediately booked it. Local resident and a vintage bus sold us!
Chad was early and ready at our pickup location, which is near fisherman’s wharf. throughout the ride, chad provided an immersive experience through music, snacks, memorabilia and lots and lots of interesting facts about the city. he gave everyone a chance to ride shotgun for the incredible views, and knew how to take the perfect pictures at the best angles! the vintage vw bus caught so many eyes, everyone wanted a picture with the beautiful bus, it felt like we were transported back in time.
for the price this was definitely worth every minute of the 3 hour tour. i feel like those big tours are soulless, and this tour was full of heart and soul. thank you, chad! 1000/10 experience.
