We’ve stayed 3 or 4? years for a spring vacation. The prices seem cheaper than many places. After you’ve endured your stay, it’s not a better deal. We have learned the hard way that Venture Out has no quality standard for their owners to meet. So, likely you’ll have lack of any decorating taste, broken items, non-functioning items and systems, dirt, broken cabinetry, previous guests’ dirty clothes left behind…..ugh it’s not worth the hassle. If Venture Out would set a standard for a nice appearance, cleanliness, functional items, etc, the houses might be nice enough to stay in. Traveler beware.

Absolutely the worst “resort” I have ever been to. The staff is not helpful and rude. We stayed for 3 days and I was so glad to leave. The full time residents don’t want rentals and there is no communication from the front office staff. They will hand you a 20 page booklet of Bilaws from the HOA. Unless you study that book you will end up with parking tickets or a towed car. We paid $150 to park two cars and there was no parking. Do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere else. The pool was closed for most of our stay. It was simply a terrible experience all the way around. I wish I could give this place negative stars.

The house we rented was 316 Lagoon Ln house was clean & furnished nicely. The actual property of Venture Out leaves a lot to be desired. Mostly trailers or mobile homes that are from the outside not kept up very well. The amenities such as the pool were not open on a regular basis. No sign or explanation on gate. Just not open. Parking fees are ridiculous since there really is no parking. It is very cramped & crowded. Our particular house only had a small parking pad to accommodate the two golf carts. There is on street parking for one car. Staff is not very open about rules & regs. It is like they are setting you up for a fine. There is off site parking for the extra car. We only found out about off site parking day before we left sfter two warnings. We went to office after each warning but only on second warning we were given a map & told of off site parking. It is a pain to have to drive to pick up a car from another area. Staff was rude. Year round owners thst do not rent make it very hard on renters. We were approached by neighbor who was NOT so nice about the parking. He even laughed thst as of September 1 no warnings will be given. They will just tow your car. Take my advice & go rent somewhere else. Too many nice places to rent to put up with that mess. My apologies to the owner of the house. The house was so cute but your neighbors don’t do you any favors.

I have been vacationing at Venture Out for 35+ years and I can honestly say that it gets better and better every single year. Yes, that is possible. 🙂 ||||Some of my best memories as a child were at Venture Out - spending time with my family doing putt-putt, swimming, riding around on the golf cart, fishing off the back pier, watching the boats ride by, playing on the playground, etc. And now I am getting to share these memories with my daughter. ||||I have stayed in at least 30 different units and they are each unique and amazing in their own ways. If outdoor space is your thing, do a little research and make sure you get one with beautiful outdoor space. ||||Location of the unit you choose is important - when my daughter was younger we liked to stay closer to the back where the playground and back pool are, but now that she is older we stay closer to the front (beach) and the front pool. There are so many options and not sure how you could go wrong with any unit that you choose. ||||The amenities are amazing - the staff is amazing! ||||You will meet some of the most amazing people while there and will make memories that will last a lifetime. ||||I thank my parents every single year for bringing me here many years ago - and now the 3 generations enjoy it togehter!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time and experience at Venture Out. We stayed at 471 Marlin Dr. Really close to the back pool and playground/basketball court and small fishing pier. We stayed entertained the entire time between the beach, pool, shuffle boards, putt putt and playground. Our house came with a golf cart which was so fun to drive around the community and bikes were included too that we rode around. This place is a hidden gem that we are so glad we discovered, because we will definitely be back to stay here for many future vacations.

My son and his team went play in a World Series baseball tournament and we stayed here for the week. The concept of this place is nice but it is way too crowded with homes. Parking at the home is very tight and not ideal. The resort has two pools in which the rules I was given when we booked in December of 2021 said the pools closed at 11 PM. Playing ball all day and coming back that evening to find out the pool closed at dusk was quite the disappointment. This alone had many of us considering losing our money and going someplace else. When we asked why they were closing the pools, we were told because the lighting wasn't up to the Florida Law possibly. We would have never booked here had we known. When I first booked and paid my deposit I didn't see anything about this. When I paid my balance in full several weeks before we went I didn't see anything about this. I signed a bunch of waivers but only to be emailed back saying I signed the wrong waivers. There were updated waivers I needed to sign, well fix your links on your website. There are a bunch of permanent residents that are older and very rude. They are very nosey and watch every move you make. Our neighbors who owned the house next door were there our first two days. They were from Georgia and talked a little to us. Since parking was so tight they said I was welcome to park in their parking spot when they left. We still had 5 more days so this was perfect, that is until security said this wasn't allowed and that I had to move my vehicle. They said homeowners can't allow others to park in their parking. We did not enjoy our stay here and will absolutely never rent here again. It was nosey residents across the street that called security. Security received calls all week from residents about various things that our group was doing. Mind you we weren't doing anything bad whatsoever that we wouldn't do at any other vacation spot.

I loved Venture Out Vacation. I don't know what our original unit number was but the owners decided to stay in it and we got booted to another unit. I was very disgruntled at first but they fixed it very apologetically in the front office and even ended up upgrading our unit to serve our needs. The pools are nice and clean. I love where we were located being way down by St. Andrews made my husband feel like he wasn't right in the mix of PCB but we were also still close enough that a few minutes drive put us anywhere we wanted shop or eat. The beach access was not crowded at all. My boys all enjoyed fishing from the dock while the girls and I could lay at the pool. We had a great stay and will definitely come back.

Don't stay in the unit with the number 300. It's gross. It's basically two dumpy trailers stitched together badly, it wasn't terribly clean and smelled musty. No dishwasher, no sponge to wash dishes with, no utensils, no pans, no drain plugs in the bathtub, a weird triangle with outlets that are VERY loose and your charger plugs will not stay in, sand EVERYWHERE, dog excrement aplenty, zero water pressure, not a hook to be found if you want to hang up wet things or even hang your towel up till you get out of the shower, just have to set it on the toilet. Lights are hit or miss as to whether they work. Venture out itself is generally great, this unit is just a gross roach motel in a very nice community. Security was a kind of rude, and the way they let traffic back up is more than a bit ridiculous.
