Marisa was absolutely remarkable as a tour guide. If we would not have done this tour, I would have felt less enthused about Pittsburgh. Yet after this tour, I genuinely find Pittsburgh to be one of the most fascinating and historically rich cities I’ve ever visited (have visited hundreds of cities). Highly recommend.

Alan was such a great tour guide! We did the ghost tour. In Pittsburgh for our anniversary. Alan knew so many details about the different places he took us to. Very fun and interesting. Ours was a walking tour, took 2 hours. Not rushed, took care that none of us "tourists" stepped out out to cross the street before we were supposed to, lol. Busy downtown, so that was nice he was keeping us safe. There was another woman and a group of 3. Perfect amount of people for the tour. Took great pictures and listened to some great ghost stories of the area! Highly recommend!

We came in town for a convention and had some extra time on a chilly Sunday morning so we booked the downtown historic walking tour. Our guide Ken was fabulous and incredibly knowledgeable The tour was packed full of information and sites with small indie stops along the way to warm us up.

We reached out to this agency about their Black and Gold Sports walking tour. Although no dates were listed on their website, the agency was able to accommodate our schedule and provide us with a very fun and informative tour! Ken provided us with the tour. He is extremely knowledgeable and braved the cold, the construction and sidewalk conditions to show us around! It was amazing!!

I’m had a fantastic tour with Paul, who is a retired architect - which was perfect, because the gilded age architecture throughout the city is the main feature of the tour. Would recommend this to anyone who likes to learn about the history of the place they’re visiting.

Loved my experience with Walk the Burgh.
Our guide, Paul, was very knowledgeable in Pittsburgh's architecture and history. All explanations and story telling were detailed and engaging.
Definitely recommend! Great tour plus you get a good walk.

What was great about this tour was venturing through numerous historic building lobbies that I probably wouldn’t have known about otherwise. Our guide Ken was great. Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the city’s history

We were a group of eight looking for a fun thing to do in the afternoon when we met up in Pittsburgh. This was very fun, very informative, and the two cocktails were delicious and at wonderful establishments! We did choose a cold day and there was a lot of outside walking so be aware of that. Also, the tour guide John is great - but John, Harriet Lane was Buchanan’s niece, not his sister!! 😁
