I traveled an hour and a half because I was told these guys were good. I was 2 minutes past their late time and they would not take my 2 girls. I am very frustrated. I did the best I could to get there on time even traveling 20 miles per hour over the speed limit just to make it there. They refused to see my 2 girls and made me reschedule. Again, I live an hour and a half away! They are always behind and rushing us through but won't take us 2 minutes past their late time. This is ridiculous! I am very unhappy with westrock staff.

I don't usually do reviews but felt I should after my experience today. I took off work to take my son to his appointment today (5/9/2024). At todays visit, we saw Dr. Wendfeldt, who we have seen the last few visits. Although he hasn't been anything to brag about I've never had any issues until today. The assistant found a couple broke brackets during her initial observation then went to get Dr. Wendfeldt. He fixed the brackets. As he was finishing up I asked him about a date to get the braces taken off since we have been told at the last 4 monthly visits that we were close. He kinda laughed and said it would be another 4-5 months. I then asked him why it would be 4-5 months after being told we were close to being done with the braces. He said because he had 2 broke brackets, so I politely asked for an explanation why that justifies another 4-5 months. The guy was literally looking right at me and just walked out as I was talking to him. Due to the fact that we've spent thousands of dollars and have to take time off work to take my son to these appointments (because it's impossible to get an appointment after school), I feel Dr. Wendfeldt could have taken just a minute of his time to explain a few things to me. Instead he didn't want to deal with me and left his assistant to hear my frustrations (she did a good job btw). It was unprofessional and disrespectful. Do better.

When we moved to the area in 2021, we were in need of orthodontic care for two of our daughters. Westrock was amazing! Dr. Stewart was great and answered questions honestly. She worked with us and didn't seem hung up on her paycheck like our previous doctor in Virginia. Over the last year, I have noticed that there has been a slip in quality care. While Dr. Stewart was and is great, the newer doctor, in my opinion, does not have a good chairside manor. He terrified my 13 year old by telling her something about her treatment that should have been told to me, her parent. Not only that, but when an issue with possible sensitivity or allergy to materials, came up, his "experience" downplayed any concerns and research I had done.

There is also the issue of parking. There have been a handful of times in which there is no parking, cars are both blocked in and parked in non-spaces.

Finally, phone calls are often not answered and go to voice-mail, and on a few occasions, I have not received a call back.

I have two other children who may need braces and I am already looking for other options.

The ladies who have worked with my kids have always been kind. They just need to remember to stop asking questions when hands and devices are in the patient's mouth. ?

I came to Westrock Orthodontics after moving to the area. I had already been wearing my braces for about two years. They stepped in and finished my dental care until my braces came off. The doctor and all of the staff were excellent. My comfort was their priority. I would highly recommend Westrock to anyone needing orthodontic care.

Everyone from the front desk throughout the process is great. Our eight-year-old daughter needs orthodontic work and is incredibly nervous about it. Dr. Stewart and Megan have done a great job keeping an optimistic spirit and calming her as well as explaining everything they are doing in detail. Everyone on staff has been friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.
