A few months ago we were able to book our Private Elkhorn Slough Boat Tour with ease. The day before our scheduled tour (July 2021) we received a confirmation email with parking instructions. We were able to find the location with no problems and parking was not very clear due to signs not saying "Whisper Charter" but we parked in the gravel parking lot beside hwy 1, next to a blue kiosk. Turns out that was the perfect place to park.
Joonya met us at the parking lot and we followed him to the boat. The boat was smaller than I envisioned from pictures but very comfortable and plenty of room for our small group of 3. The decor on the boat was colorful and very clean. Jooyna was very friendly and was informative with facts about Elkhorn Slough. You can tell this is his passion, not just a business.
On our tour we saw many otters, pelicans, harbor seals and sea lions. The boat was amazingly quiet which made the trip very calm, peaceful and relaxing. Worth every penny! Thank you Jooyna, we really enjoyed this experience and learning about Elkhorn Slough.

November 12 @ 2pm. My wife and I had the boat to ourselves along with Captain Sean. What a wonderful afternoon! The electric boat is so quiet, and we really enjoyed viewing the wildlife over a glass of wine and relaxation. After hearing about the evening "Aloha" cruise, we can hardly wait for that experience. I HIGHLY recommend this cruise over any other. You won't be disappointed.

This is a really nice way to spend an afternoon. I took my friend for her birthday. We brought wine and cheese. Although, the boat holds more, we were the only ones! We saw sea otters, sea lions, and all kinds of cool birds.

The guide (captain) was very nice and informative.

Kayaking is fun, but this was way more relaxing!

Couldn't ask for a better experience! The boat is electric, so it doesn't disturb the wildlife - the sea otters were amazing and Captain Brian is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed wine and cheese and had an awesome time. Highly recommend!

Had such an awesome time. The otters, pelicans, and views were so awesome. The seals were funny. The captain and his beautiful girlfriend were so friendly, informative, and welcoming. Wine, cheese, and snacks were provided. Would definitely recommend!!

Lovely way to enjoy Elkhorn Slough and its natural wonders. The boat has an electric motor so you can cruise in quiet comfort without disturbing the wildlife in their habitat.

We visited the Monterey Bay area last week and one of our highlights was a cruise of the Elkhorn Slough with Whisper Charters on Selkie II!! It was treat to see so many marine animals and birds...highlighted by Captain Brian's depth of knowledge. Selkie II is an electric Duffy and was a very comfortable, quiet and protected boat for viewing all up close and personal.
