The accommodations were lovely, but what I will most remember is that the gentleman (Wayne?) who took care of us treated us like true guests and not just customers. He was cordial, attentive, and offered to help with luggage. Furthermore, he brought us a breakfast because he thought it would help me because my mom is elderly.

The room was lovely with a spectacular view where if we had had time we could enjoy a balcony breakfast. I plan to go back with the Lodge as a destination and not just a stopover. Additionally, the price was excellent.

Such a friendly manager (Wayne) & beautiful location. Honeymoon suites are great! Everything was really clean and comfortable! Staff made us feel so welcome! Felt like I was staying at a family friend’s property! Highly recommend and I will definitely be back.

We booked this lodge for one night as a stop on the way home from Branson. When we got there we were immediately in awe of the view. We were on the mountain top overlooking the lakes. It was absolutely beautiful. The room was okay. The bathroom was a bit odd because it had a window overlooking the living room. We thought that was odd and kind of funny. The bedroom was in a separate room. It had a shared balcony with tables and chairs. The man that worked there had to kill a bunch of yellow jackets on the balcony before we could go out on the balcony. We had a great stay. The bedroom had a TV as well as the living room. They had an area with snacks in the lobby. The next morning for breakfast we went downstairs to enjoy yet another fabulous view. There was a nice fireplace too.

The view and the quiet location were lovely. The rest, I struggled with a bit. First inkling was the dead cockroach in the shower — ok, everyone has a bug once in awhile. As I rocked on the toilet that needed the bolts tightened down, I could tell that the floor had not been mopped before my visit. And while the view was lovely from the balcony, the balcony was filthy. It needed a good power washing or at the very least, a good sweeping. I will not get into the funky smell of the pillows on the bed. I started to make hot water for a cup of tea and noticed the coffee pot didn’t look very clean. Sure enough, when I took it to the bathroom sink to rinse it, brown water came out. It had not been cleaned from the prior visitor. Needless to say, I did not proceed to make hot tea. “Breakfast” the next morning included a soured pitcher of milk in a sour smelling basement with a lovely view.

My traveling companion told me that my standards are too high. Perhaps. But for ~$200 (let’s be honest and include taxes, etc.), I was disappointed overall.

Again. The location, view, and the quiet were lovely. The accommodations…not so much.

This hotel was gorgeous, I did not know what to expect as it was a small hotel and the staff was fantastic. Mr. Wayne was the on-site manager and he waited up for me to come in super late and when I woke up in the morning, I just couldn’t believe the view. I love this place and I’ll be back every time I get a chance.

The views are spectacular and the bathrooms remodeled and very modern. Very clean hotel and the manager is very polite and professional. The restaurant is no longer functioning for at least 15 years. Bring food! Breakfast is served 8-9:30 am.

Absolutely gorgeous Wayne met us at the door and showed us to our room... And after that gave us our privacy...the amazing feeling of being above the clouds was an amazing experience...the view was absolutely gorgeous

My husband and I were looking for a nice quiet place to escape to for the weekend. We needed a stress free environment, a nice quiet place to relax. This is it! Beautiful views and great hospitality! The breakfast was great as well! 10/10 would recommend!
