Albert, @wildfoodietours was the perfect host for our Tijuana food tour. He took us to the most interesting places off the tourist path, to places where the locals go. The tour was interesting, informative, and well balanced with so much food that it would be hard to eat it all. We loved the market and the lime Chile fruit and veggie cup, the refreshing agua fresca, the churros, and the fish tacos, but our favorite may have been the ceviche tostada! Albert met us at the trolley station at the US/Mexico border, arranged for shared taxi rides, and stayed with us until he walked us to the line heading back into the USA at the end of our time together. We always felt safe and well taken care of. Albert has lots of fun experiences that he shares and our time, on what turned out to be a private tour, was like spending an afternoon with a friend. We can’t wait to go experience another tour, of the many that Wild Foodie Tours runs, next time we are in the area! Highly recommended!

Loved, loved LOVED the Tijuana tour! Albert was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Plus I was able to not only visit Mexico for my first time but also dive straight into the culture. If you need an excursion while you're in south Cali and love food I would highly recommend this one

5-Stars! I just took my second tour with Albert from Wild Foodie Tours. Going into Mexico via foot to explore Tijuana's food can be overwhelming for a newbie. Albert's food cart tour is a great starter activity. He has selected a really great variety of foods to try, the Smoked Marlin taco is my favorite! This is super fun for a family and friends activity when in San Diego. Do be prepared for walking (estimates 3-4 miles) and on crumbly dirty sidewalks (for those of you that would of liked to know) ....

We did this small group tour yesterday. We have been going to TJ for years, but found ourselves always going to the same areas. This was a nice trip through an area that I normally do not get to visit.

The selection of food stands was very good, we liked all of them. I really enjoyed the time in Mercado Hidalgo. That market itself can be an entire day. There are a lot of stalls on the perimeter, but the market itself if also deep.

We passed through an area that was lush with flower shops; with it being Mother's Day weekend, there was plenty of beautiful displays to admire.

Enjoyable afternoon in a city that is rich in diversity of experiences.

Albert provided a wonderful experience of Dim Sum. He explained the cultural traditions of eating Dim Sum and its origins. All and all it was a great experience and I would do it again with Albert. After our meal, we walked to an Asian Market and saw various foods used by various cultures. I highly recommend this tour!

We've done 2 tours with Albert and both have been AMAZING. He crafts a thoughtful menu of delicious things to experience - one taco stands out because of the fresh, handmade corn tortillas, while one taco blows your mind with the crunchy but soft flour tortilla carrying the perfect crema and marlin. You just go from one delicious experience to another! I definitely recommend Albert - we'll be trying is dim sum tour next.

My husband and I did the street food tour with Albert and we had the BEST.TIME.EVER! Albert truly knows good food and he brought us to the best of the best Tijuana had to offer. He was also extremely friendly, street smart (which made us feel safe), and laid back.. exactly what you would want from a tour guide. It was more like hanging out with a friend who's a true foodie. We are still talking about the amazing grilled marlin tacos! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend any one of his food tours to friends! Thanks Albert!
