Booking Dylan as a full service planner for our wedding made the whole planning experience amazing. I would 100% recommend anyone considering a wedding planner to DO IT and anyone considering booking Wild Rose Weddings and Events to DO IT.

During the planning process Dylan handled all the big logistical stuff so my fiance and I could do the fun stuff like making pinterest boards for design inspo, picking outfits, and tasting cake. We never had a specific vision for our day or specific vendors in mind so Dylan brought great recommendations. The team of vendors she pulled together was amazing and made the day great!

She was a great communicator throughout the process and we always knew what tasks we had to do or questions to answer and where she was in the planning process. She was thoughtful of our budget throughout the process and always gave us options at different price points so we could choose where we wanted to splurge or save.

I don't have anything I would change about our wedding day thanks to Dylan and her team!!! But if I were to do it over step one would be hiring Dylan again. ?

A wedding is one of the most expensive events in a person’s life, so it’s natural to think about ways to save money. It is then inevitable that you might ask yourself, “should I hire a coordinator?”

Yes. Yes, you should.

You CAN do it yourself. You can keep yourself on track. You can organize your vendors, develop lists of key people, build your own timeline. You can decorate your own venue the day before or morning of. You can. But there is only one of you (or, at least, only one of each of you), and eventually you will be torn between frantic last-minute touches, and being there to experience your day with the people you love.

You can do it yourself, but it’s not worth the price you will pay.

We hired Dylan for the day-of. She checked in with us regularly, asked questions, kept lists, created a detailed timeline, and offered recommendations for selecting and tipping vendors. When we ran into uncertainties about conventions or our (and our vendors’) responsibilities, she gave us insightful and experienced advice.

But the thing that was so valuable it could not be entered into a budgeting spreadsheet: She gave us our day. We left her with the pieces of our vision, and I’m sure, not nearly enough instruction on what to do with it. A few short hours later, we walked into our fantasy, manifested. That “wow” moment is beyond my ability to put into words. It is one thing to see your dream wedding in your head, and another entirely to see it with your own eyes.

And while all of this was being done — resourcefully, independently, and flawlessly — we focused on the experience of being surrounded by family and friends.

This is not even to speak of the remarkable competence on display while she stood between the fantasy and the machinery behind it, so we never had to peer behind the curtain. I could write a whole other review on this, but suffice to say: Schedules were kept, needs were anticipated, cats were herded. Things just happened, exactly when they were supposed to. About the only time we spoke to our hired vendors was to answer “yes, please” when someone asked, “more wine?”

I’m sure I will never know half of what she did for us. I hope you are all lucky enough to not realize how much was done for you, and around you, to give you the freedom to feel all the feels with your new spouse. That ignorance — of just how much work it actually took — is a sure sign that things went very, very right.

Weddings have a lot of moving parts, and most of us will have experience planning one only after we’ve thrown the party of a lifetime. I can’t promise you won’t have any regrets. But hiring Dylan won’t be one of them, and will ensure that “spent all my time managing the event instead of getting to experience it” isn’t one, either.

Dylan was always there for me when I had questions. She was prompt and able to give good advice. I shut my phone off at 8am the day of the wedding and trusted that Dylan was able to take care of everything that were to come up. This allowed me to be 100% present with my now husband, family, and our guests -- and it shows in our photos!! Lauren was a great asset on the day of the wedding too. They both made sure I was comfortable and I was able to thoroughly enjoy my big day!

Dylan and her team were better than what we could have hoped for! Every step of the planning process she made very comfortable, stress free, and exciting. She communicated regularly, asked questions often, and responded quickly. She was amazing at finding unique ways to make our theme work that were cost effective, and has the patience of a saint. Dylan has such a wide range of vendors she is in contact with to help make sure the wedding is as amazing as you want it to be. Her and her team made our wedding day so special and uncomplicated. She was definitely worth every penny!

There are truly no words for how grateful I am to Dylan! She was INCREDIBLE. She saved us so much time and money, and made everything run so smooth!
She always had or immediately found the answers when I had a question, and was the perfect mix of directing me to the right choice and never pushing me. She helped us create the vision I did not even know how to put into words, but she somehow heard exactly what I was looking for anyway!
She really knows her stuff! And as a people pleaser myself, she was able to step in ask for what I needed and say no for me in the planning, and day of! She kept everything organized from day one to the very end of the night!
My Pastor, who has done countless weddings, said that mine was one of the smoothest he had ever seen and his wife said it was the only wedding shes ever seen that actually started on time, with the officiant walking out at start time, on the dot! There was no rush or stress, because Dylan built the time in we needed, organized everyone, AND directed everyone to bring issues, questions, and anything to her day of, not me! Dylan had everything handled and so low stress that a bridesmaid's car broke down at 6am while driving to Anchorage from Palmer, and I didn't even know about it or realize till she showed up an hour late! She kept everything rolling and positive all day.
If I could tell every bride about her I would, GAME CHANGER! And bonus, she is someone that I truly enjoyed working and spending time with.
Although not the post flattering of pictures, the last one had to be included, our faces when she showed up the reception space all set up for the first time!

Highly recommended Wild Rose Weddings and Events. Dylan’s attention to detail is phenomenal! Her calmness helped me so much and I knew all I had to worry about was getting ready and to the venue as she had it all planned out. There was no question as to when or where my wedding party and I had to be as her very detailed timeline was easy to follow. Our day was flawless and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day! Arriving at the venue and seeing how well Dylan had put our dream day together was priceless. She literally took care of everything from the decor, to the guests, to keeping us on time…I will forever be grateful for Dylan and her amazing work ❤️
