Attending the Windy City Wedding Show was absolutely worth it! I met so many amazing couples, and within just a few days of the event, I already booked two weddings. The show was well-organized, had a great turnout, and provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with engaged couples looking for top-tier wedding services. If you’re a wedding vendor looking to grow your business, this show is a must! Highly recommend.

Would give zero stars if we could. Planned on attending the show on 2/11/24. Had four people, three of whom who came from out of state to attend with the bride. Had our tickets, planned the day around getting there about 1. Arrived -- AND IT WAS SHUTTING DOWN. Two hours early! Don't waste your time trying to get to this one -- it may well not even be there.

Please be aware paying to be a vendor at these events. I paid for a booth to be a vendor at the Hoffman Estates Wedding Expo at the Stonegate Properties conference center in Jan. However, at the last minute the show was cancelled.
I spoke with the owner Keith and said he would refund the money that was paid as of today we have not received refund. If you have had the same experience please message me so that we can take further action.

Well, like many other reviews listed here, I’ve come to share my disappointed experience about the Windy City Wedding Show. As an event coordinator, I was hoping to get some inspiration from this expo for they were advertising in a way that made you feel like you were going to get an immersive experience. I haven’t been in the industry nearly as long as those who have put this show together, but I can tell you that a show that’s meant to be all about wedding planning wasn’t even planned itself. When I saw that both Randy Fenoli and David Tutera were going to be there, I had pretty high expectations. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, there was absolutely no signage for where to go in the hotel for where the expo was going to take place. Even leading up to the event, there wasn’t even more in depth information of what would be taking place over the weekend. Once we found where to go, I was basically just handed a wristband with no agenda and expected to know what to do even though this is my first time being there. A little greeting would have been nice when I checked in. Also, they never checked that even bought a ticket, so I’m wishing I never did in the first place. The next disappointment was the false advertisement in how many vendors were going to be present. The over 100 vendors that were supposed to be present were more like 50. Since it didn’t take very long to breeze through that amount of vendors, we figured we would try to find some of the demonstrations. But not my surprise, the lady by the check-in said “it was canceled because of COVID.” - - Oh thanks for the notification that we were basically going to do nothing for the rest of the day. - - Now all we have left to look forward to is the evening “engagement party” featuring live music, snacks/sweets, and drinks. WHAT A JOKE THAT WAS. It was just 10 people sitting at a dark bar with a random DJ playing. No dancing, no excitement. You would think for people in the wedding business, that they would know how to throw a party. There was a complete lack of service overall and this expo seriously needs some attention if you want it to be worth people’s time. I made the mistake in getting a room to join in the 2-day fun, when I would have rather driven back home to save myself the money.

Thank you to David, Randy, and all the fashion show models who were to only one's to make it worth while.

WARNING.. THESE “WEDDING EXPOS” ARE SCAMS!!! Signed up for the “Windy City Expo” in Rosemont for 11/17/19. Showed up to the hotel to find out that there was no show ever scheduled. I reached out to the director of sales with the Embassy and he stated that they never received payment from Windy City... other vendors were there and never got a cancellation email or notice either. I was able to reach “KC” the owner and he said emails went out that the show was canceled and refunds has been made. Never got an email or refund. Thank god I paid via Amex and will fight the charge with them. Horrible experience & company to work with. BEWARE!!!!

I went all the way to Rosemont in order to attend a bridal expo hosted by Windy City Wedding Show. I showed up to a bunch of confused people wandering around trying to figure out where the event was. Turns out it was cancelled without any notice going out. The hotel it was supposed to be held at was equally confused as it was still on their calendars. I had communicated with the owner a week prior and he made no mention of the event being cancelled. What a waste of time and money (parking is expensive there). Don't trust any events thrown by Windy City Wedding Show.

These bridal events are a scam for money. Do not pay to be a vendor at this show and definitely don't pay to attend.
You can read all of the other review, the show will be canceled at the last minute and you will not get a refund. Same thing happened to me. Avoid this business and it's associates like Badger State Bridal.

Terrible! We attended the one today at the Aon Center downtown, They had advertised over 80 vendors and there were less than 20. Claimed that was all they had room for, but there were several empty ballrooms available.
