As a Delaware wedding photographer, Winterthur is hands down one of my favorite venues in the state! The grounds offer so much variety for portraits and the staff is always incredibly kind & helpful. Can't wait to be back!

We could not be happier with our choice of Winterthur for our wedding. Jamie and the whole team were incredibly responsive to all of our questions and concerns, including and especially with my serious food allergies. They also did an incredible job handling last minute inclement weather that forced us to change plans for our ceremony, and our guests even said that they didn’t realize the rain plan wasn’t the original plan. Jamie and the team were incredibly attentive throughout the night, bringing us food and drinks directly during the cocktail hour. We had the wedding of our dreams at Winterthur and can’t recommend it highly enough.

I recently toured with Jamie to see about booking the venue for a wedding. She was a great host, she answered all of our questions, and was so personable. She took us to all of the spots we were most interested in and allowed us to skip parts we weren't interested in which was nice because we got to spend more time seeing the parts of the venue that were most important to us and gave us the ability to have some extra time to sit down and ask questions about packages and specific things about the spaces we were interested in. If you are looking to tour for a wedding, I would definitely reach out to Jamie! She made such a wonderful experience of the tour!

I love this place....the wedding ran late because of the venue being open to the public during the day, and the need to use shuttles to move people around. Other than that the setting was perfect and the staff helpful. I would have liked if they let us party later

Nice setting for outdoor ceremonies, but make sure the PA system is working. Beautiful estate.
