Located amongst rolling hills and nature. This stay was great! This was a home away from home. We were able to work and enjoy ourselves at the same time. We visited the caves and wineries during the week. I'll be coming back.

Great location in Gold Country. One of the nicest WorldMarks we have visited. Perfect for families, groups. If you have ever stayed in a timeshare, you know that there's a sales pitch.

Free EV charging, Deer frequent the lawns. Rooms were more spacious than the resort photos made it seem. My kid's appreciated the Easter Egg hunt they hosted. Also liked that the staff would put different pool toys out every day. Some units are under renovation (as of April 2025). Should be nice when they are done.

The resort is going through renovations so the issues we have may be related to that. We've stayed in Worldmark resorts in various locations at least 2x a year for 10+ years so here are things that we think that can be improved.
1. Punch list need to be rechecked: some vents did not open, one had construction debris
2. Sliding door in the bathroom did not close properly
3. Not enough lights in the kitchen
4. No tea or spices except salt and pepper. The other resorts provided these.
5. The blue plastic tumblers are big and slippery for small hands. I dropped mine 2x. What would children use? The other resorts have white ribbed tumblers.
6. The concierge people kept calling us to come to their presentation after we made it clear upon checking in that we were not interested. Again we didn't have this issue with their other resorts.
7. The website inaccurately posted that the pool and hot tub were unavailable so we didn't bring our swimsuit. Unfortunately there were no swimsuits for sale in town.

What we like.
1. Service is very good. Maintenance and housekeeping staff were promptly and polite.
2. Rooms are clean
3. Excellent resort facilities
4. Good location

The rooms are very spacious. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with privacy for everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, the pool and sauna are clean.
The area is nice with wineries, caverns and restaurants less than 15 minutes away in Murphy. Bear valley (for snow activities ) is 1 hour away and Big trees state park about 35 minutes. Have fun exploring!

Stayed in March 2025. Rain and blue skies for the weather forecast, some cloudy days too. It was in the highs of mid 50’s. Location is in the middle of nowhere, lots of rolling hills, very pretty. They are in the middle of upgrading all of the complex. Comfortable 1 bedroom unit. There was a Murphy bed in the room, so sleeping 4 was ok. It was only 2 of us. Pool and jacuzzi were nice, rec room had ping pong and other things to do. During this trip, it wasn’t crowded. If you want to getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life, this resort is chill.

Property location was convenient for us during our home kitchen remodel, but we were disappointed in the property. It is an obviously aging property. Currently being renovated, but their claim was a delay due to COVID-19. That was a long time ago, and not to be an excuse. Our unit Master Bedroom was cold, and the one heating register could not warm it up properly. A strong draft of cold air came from the bathroom "pocket" door which contributed to the problem...

I believe I was a vip guest.
A. The kids shouldn't waste their time at the presentation for the continental breakfast.
B. Each time I go to these presentations they say it will take around 90 minutes. By closing each time it's exceeding 4 hours which shits out an entire Vacation day.
C. Don't text me saying if I need anything to text back. Sets wrong expectations and I don't appreciate it.
D. Great resort . Can't say I recommend the time share program but I've already purchased it so here we go. ( maintenance fees and your points expires quickly of not used)

I remember a time in the past when the hospitality industry was still hospitable. This no longer seems to be the case in the industry or at the very least, is not for the WorldMark Angels Camp. ||My family and I stayed there this past weekend and had a completely fine time. ||About an hour after checking out, my 6 year old guiltily informed me that she had left her younger sister’s stuffed hen toy in one of the bedroom drawers that she was pretending was a chicken coop. Bummer. Totally my bad. Should have checked the drawers. Noted. ||It just so happened that we were still doing activities in the area for the next few hours so we figured we could try to pick it up on the way out of town. We immediately called the desk at the WorldMark property to inquire about the missing bird and were subsequently informed that we had to make a claim with a third party website called ILeftMyStuff.com and would be notified when it was found. ||Ok. So rather than the hotel desk sending a simple text message or call to the housekeeping department that was likely IN THE ROOM at that very moment cleaning the drawers with the stuffed hen inside, we filed a report with this website. 24 hours later I receive a message that the hen has been recovered and it will cost $50.00 to return. I expected to have to pay something, but $50.00 to ship a 4 oz stuffed hen 2 hours away is a blatant heap of bullsh*t.||Hospitality companies used to care about their guests and the experiences they shared on property. WorldMark, like many other companies nowadays, views its guests as vessels of monetary exploitation. They aim to provide the absolute bare minimum service to their PAYING customers while taking as many short cuts as possible to extract the highest profits. This might mean that they pay their employees as little as possible and degrade their humanity by considering them disposable. It might mean that the company sources the cheapest cleaning and hygiene products available that don’t actually clean as well as advertised and may even be harmful to guests and staff. It might indicate that the company procures the lowest quality building materials and furniture for their rooms that at best are uncomfortable and at worst dangerous. And it might mean that the company partners with scammy third party websites that charge exorbitant shipping fees to return a f*cking kids stuffed chicken to you.||At the end of the day, I’m talking about a stuffed toy. Who cares? There are bigger problems in the world.||But when guests comply with this absurdly predatory behavior or simply allow it to occur without speaking out, it sends a message to these companies that this is a completely acceptable business practice. It sets the dangerous precedent that as paying customers, we are totally fine being treated like blood bags by these vampiric corporate ghouls. ||Screw that. ||Don’t support this behavior and don’t support these businesses! They should be ashamed of themselves!
