An old college friend of mine hosted her baby shower here. The space is nice and simple. There's a coat rack area in the front and the space, which is long, is filled with several rows of tables and chairs, which toy can decorate any way you'd like Werth whatever theme you'd like. There's a space behind the sitting tables for food set up (about 3-4 long tables) and a space for a picture wall. They had a speaker system in the back for music, which her husband, i think, manned, and it played well. Once the event got going, there wad plenty of space to mix and mingle, grab food and eat out of the way of the walkway, and kids were running around having a good time. It was perfect for what the event.

Held a baby shower at this venue about a year ago very nice in the inside spacious. But my guest gave negative feedback about the owner making them feel very uncomfortable and that really upset me a lot customer service is everything. THE PLACE COULD BE AS NICE LOOKING AS CAN BE BUT IF THE CUSTOMER SERVICE ISNT WELL YOU CANT KEEP PEOPLE COMING I WOULDNT REFER THIS PLACE TO ANYONE !

I don't know where to start. First of all they are very expensive and unprofessional. They need to improvement in staff customer service skills. The staff is watching you like you are going to steal something and then they kept saying to us, "don't put any items on that table or this table. Why are these tables in the kitchen if you can't put anything on them. And I even think that could gave said It better. There is no parking for your guest or to unload your catering. The place is beautiful and has potential for being a good venue fir your event. The family member security guard was twisting his hair (youngman) throughout the entire event, really, around food. Also the owner (Michelle) had the nerve to call me back on Monday, to say that she saw that I called but thought it was a wrong number, then why are you calling me now. She wasn't very interested in hearing my concerns. I will NEVER have an event at the Connection or recommend it to anyone. The Connection need to connect with their customers and a customer service training classs!!

Let me first start off by saying I strive to support Black Business. Beautiful Venue remote location well kept. However I’m 36 and I’m having my VERY FIRST babygirl and it’s a gift from god! When visioning throwing your first baby shower all your adult life you know what you want, you know what it’ll look like, you know who would be there. Your just looking for THE perfect location to actually live out your long time dream in. Let me admit I didn’t thoroughly read out the contract; but this I received once I paid my none refundable deposit might I add. When you call they tell their rates availablilty what comes with it etc. when you go they show upstairs downstairs you pick your space then you put your money down to hold it etc. then is when you receive all of there rules and regulations. Which I do believe when you call and or go up there for a viewing, you should be advised on the dues and don’t then. When you pick a venue usually it’s accommodating to your vision, if you want candle centerpieces, table runners instead of cloths hell if you wanted birds flying around you could bc their supporting your vision for your big day! Nope not this place, Diane “the manager” was very rude treated myself “the pregnant women” and my guest as if we where ratchet out of control people or children. They show no hospitality at all. They stood by with their nose up as if you are beneath them. They give you no extra time to set up with out paying additional. They completely hurt my feelings and ruined my dream and ruined my moment that I waited so long for and that I cannot ever get back. At the end my husband received our extra deposit for damages back and they had the nerves to ask for recommendations I wouldn’t ever. Which hurts me because that’s what I’m about supporting my own. All I can do is pray that they get better in the hospitality part of being a venue owner and they treat people the way they want to be treated when their spending their hard earned money! Great layout for our press conference / networking event. Michelle, her husband and staff were responsive and reliable leading up to the event, and supportive day-of. Definitely contributed to the success of our event.

First and foremost thank you The Connection owners for providing an awesome experience for my Grandfathers’ Birthday. Rental space was very well suited and service staff went above and beyond on all levels.

Very beautiful atmosphere. The interior was ideal to celebrate the baby shower. There is parking available. I recommend for parties and family gatherings.
